Develop Digital Citizens
UCLA faculty, students, and staff are digital citizens with (1) the knowledge and skills to use IT to do the best possible research, scholarship, teaching, learning, service, and administration and (2) the understanding that each has not only individual but also institutional responsibilities for the management, protection, and or availability of digital information.

- First Fridays - A monthly open clinic for Emeriti/Retirees to get one-on-one help on specific technology problems.
- Green IT - A team comprised of IT staff from across campus that searches for technology solutions that are both good for the environment and save real dollars.
- ITHR - A resource team comprised of IT staff from across campus that helps fellow UCLA IT staff with career growth and development, training, networking, and job outreach.
- Virtual Access Strike Team (VAST) - A team comprised of IT staff from across campus that looks for ways to make technology more virtually accessible.
- BruinTech - An advisory board made up for IT staff that provides technology-related news, seminars, podcasts, guides, etc. to the entire campus.
- FacTech - A group aimed at enhancing IT literacy and innovation among UCLA Faculty.
- HDC Board - A consortium formed to promote IT Collaboration at UCLA.
- Remote Tech - A team comprised of experts in distance-based technology that researches the many ways that work can be done from various locations.
- Security - A group that provides guidance and training on proper use of UCLA IT and data resources.
- KnowledgeBase - An information bank or knowledgebase to help faculty, staff, students, and campus help desks get accurate, current info about technology, administration and library solutions in this increasingly interdependent environment.
- Digital Citizen - A group that proposes ideas and projects aimed at promoting Digital Citizenship among the UCLA community.
- Student IT - A group comprised of IT staff across campus that searches for ways to help UCLA students become better digital citizens.
- Super Friends IT Staff Mentorship - A group comprised of IT staff across campus that helps incoming IT staff familiarize themselves with IT services, processes, and resources on campus.
- Online Learning Strike Team - A group comprised of IT staff across campus that helps develop marketing and outreach for UCLA Online Learning tools.
